I AM STILL WAITING...

Born into the world of feigned relations,
Bred on the hands of ruthless emotions,
Cradled through time and mine own destiny,
In search of nowhere and out of nothing,
I don’t know why…I am still waiting.
With baffled answers to all my queries,
And turned away eyes to my progressions,
Mystified responses, heartless advances,
To know the depth, to know the cause,
I don’t know why…I am still waiting.
What took my identity, What took my identity, what folly had I done?
Was there a mishap or a story un begun?
Why my own, my much known people?
Turned around so callously, to my profound endeavor,
I don’t know why…I am still waiting.
Will once some one turn, pay heed to what I said?
Free me from my captivity and take me back?
Take me to the land of truth and meaningful living.
With open arms I stand and ponder
I don’t know why…I am still waiting.
