State of depression

Alone I sit day and night,
Closing the curtains to keep out the light.
In darkness, I just want to be,
As this state of depression takes over me.
No one in my life seems to care,
As I see no sign of them wanting to share.
In my darkness, I see no light,
As this state of depression, I feel so right.
Depressed and lonely,
I go thru each day,
Without a friend to share the way.
All alone, I just seem to be,
As this state of depression,
takes over me. Tears I shed when I'm all alone,
Sadness inside, is my very own.
No one to care about me each day,
No one to hear the words I say.
All alone in this darkness, am I,
A state of depression, leaving me to cry.
